We're coming back to the Double Standard, 2424 Telegraph Ave, Oakland for a Friday night pop up with chef Alicia of soon-to-open Bread and Butter cafe.
- CUMIN FRIED CAULIFLOWER: Marinated, battered and fried cauliflower tossed in crushed cumin, garlic and dried chilies, served with lime and fermented tofu cream, pickled mustard seeds, onions and cucumbers.
- CURRY PUFF: Thick potato, onion and egg curry in a golden and flaky pastry crust, served with sambal.
- LAKSA (Gluten free): Rice noodles in coconut lemongrass soup with chilies, tofu puffs, braised shredded yuba, market vegetables, sambal and burdock floss.
