Second Chance Soirée is an unforgettable evening in support of the cats who need us most! Enjoy a carefully curated menu, wine, beer, music, games, and the ambience of Oakland’s gorgeous Preservation Park, all while mingling with friendly faces and supporting Cat Town’s mission. We hope you’ll join us for this special and unforgettable evening — and give every shelter cat in need a second chance at finding a home!
A CULINARY ADVENTURE BY S+M VEGAN
The menu dreamed up by S+M Vegan is simply inspired. Buttery, bite-sized biscuits, studded with scallions and “bacon” bits — topped with brown sugar and miso butter. Hearty sliders heaped with barbecued Chinese eggplant, pickled carrots, and a creamy raw herb and cabbage slaw atop homemade buns. Parfaits layering roasted banana, coconut custard, vanilla lime cake, and banana chips. And so much more. Everything is 100% vegan, and an incredible experience in flavor.
MUSICAL STYLINGS BY DJ ADAM MYATT
We're delighted to feature a musical act you won’t want to miss: our friend Adam Myatt AKA the Cat Man of West Oakland. The Cat Man will set the perfect ambiance with his ethereal, feline-inspired sound as you peruse our menu, games, silent auction, and more.
